Sometimes unions often win unfair practice cases or grievance arbitrations because their institutional memory is better. They have every contract, MOU, TA and notes from every team member, and they know how to use them. School districts, on-the-other-hand, necessarily have higher turnover and current Administration may not know where to look or who to talk to in order to get the scoop. This workshop will provide practical tips for preserving institutional memory and how to use it effectively in defending claims.
